Director Judd Apatow (center) and actress Amy Schumer speak at the screening of "Trainwreck" during the 2015 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival at the Paramount on March 15, 2015 in Austin, Texas.
Schumer was asked where she got her empowered, bad-ass attitude.
"I think I was just led astray. I didn't lose my two front teeth until fifth grade, but I had my period. So I was like this jack o' lantern with t**s walking around," she said. "I didn't know anything was possibly wrong to me until I was 30. When I see young girls that feel like 'everything is OK,' for some reason I held onto that longer than most. Be unapologetic!"
