"She was an amazing woman, she was the heart and soul of the country," veteran Alison Wilson said.
Queen Elizabeth lived her life of duty and touched the lives of people around the world, many of whom are unable to pass through Westminster Hall to pay their respects.
"Tennis has treated me more generously than I ever would have dreamt, and now I must recognize when it is time to end my competitive career," he said.
Queen Elizabeth II is now lying in state at Westminster Hall.
