West Philadelphia students learn about the history of slavery, form friendships on trip to Ghana
Seventh and eighth graders from Global Leadership Academy in West Philadelphia learned about the trans-Atlantic slave trade in Ghana and met and bonded with students at a school in the country's capital, Accra. Wakisha Bailey chats with the school's founder and students who have returned home from what they called the trip of a lifetime.
