The role of Rosie the Riveters and the Black women who helped win World War II

Few know the significant role millions of women played during World War II efforts. Those women were called Rosie the Riveters and many of them were African American women. Ray Strickland highlights a real-life Rosie featured in a documentary titled “Invisible Warriors” about African American women of World War II.
