Philadelphia Board of Education to name district office building in honor of Constance E. Clayton
The Philadelphia Board of Education has voted to name the School District of Philadelphia’s central office building at 440 Broad Street to The Constance E. Clayton Education Center. Clayton was the district's first African American and first female superintendent.
