There were about 3,700 sudden unexpected infant deaths in the US in 2015, according to the CDC.

For at least the first six months of their lives, infants should be sleeping in the same room as their parents, but not the same bed, according to a new report from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Now, the official cause of death is listed as sudden infant death syndrome, commonly known as SIDS.
"Parents and kids who come to our screenings don't think anything is wrong with them," says Phyllis Sudman, "but then they are diagnosed with a heart condition."
