With Valentine's Day Just Days Away, Now Is The Time To Think About Gifts

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Okay, guys. Valentine's Day is less than a week away. Does it matter what you get her? Yes. And no.

Gentlemen: Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and you still need to get her a gift. Think about this before you walk into the drug store at the last-minute.

"When they get you a little teddy bear and a keychain and a card -- it's just not me.  It's just not me.  And it makes me think -- 'You don't even really know what I would like.'"

That's Jacklin Rhoads, a publicist with Cashman and Associates. She says a good gift is thoughtful and original.

"One time I had my boyfriend deliver pizza to my office -- all these heart-shaped pizzas. It was really thoughtful for me and all my co-workers."

But the best gift, Rhoads says, is one that is tailored to a woman's individual desires like a stay at her favorite hotel or even Flyers tickets if she's a fan. That proves you've paid attention to what she really wants.
