Wing Bowl To Have Two Women Eaters For First Time Ever
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Wing Bowl, now in year 24, has traditionally been a man's event.
In 2014, Molly Schuyler changed that, winning SportsRadio 94WIP's wing eating contest by devouring a then-record 363 wings. The following year, at Wing Bowl 23, Schuyler finished in second place after eating 440 wings, just four behind of the 2015 winner Patrick Bertoletti.

While Schuyler is expected to be Bertoletti's main obstacle from becoming a repeat champion at Wing Bowl 24 on Friday, she will not be the only woman standing in his way. For the first time in Wing Bowl history, two women will compete in the event -- Schuyler and "Danny The Marine."

"I am nervous, but I will be a winner in something," Danny told Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show on Wednesday, two days before the event. "I will guarantee you that. One hundred percent."

Danny ate mussels to qualify for Wing Bowl.
I know what you're thinking -- eating wings is going to be a lot tougher than mussels. She disagrees.
"[Eating wings] is a lot easier than biting through shells and sitting there and chomping through -- and like cutting lips and stuff."
