PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse, on South 17th Street near Rittenhouse Square, celebrates summer and outdoor dining with take-out picnic baskets.
"This is like highbrow brown-bag lunch," says Davio's interim chef, Chad Brown. "We're talking about actual wicker baskets."
He says lunch for two initially costs 95 dollars, but that includes the deposit for your basket.
"The basket itself, we ask that you return it and you get a $50 refund once it comes back," he notes.

And the folks at Federal Donuts, with locations in center city and South Philadelphia, are celebrating National Fried Chicken Day on July 6th by holding a contest in which one lucky customer will win fried chicken for life.
Co-owner Tom Henneman says the contest will work like Willy Wonka's famous golden ticket.
-----
"We'll have ten tickets," Henneman tells What's Cooking, "and one of them will be the most golden of golden tickets, which will be fried chicken for life -- a half an order a week for the rest of your life, forever. Not for this year, not for next year, for ever ever."

Meanwhile, chef Peter Serpico talks about his eponymous South Street restaurant, but is very elusive about describing his food.
The collaboration between master Philadelphia restaurateur Stephen Starr and New York City chef Peter Serpico is now open -- but Serpico shies away from discussing his menu.
----
"I want people to come in and have their own opinions about it and I don't want to tell people that they have to order something because maybe they don't like that," he said.
