PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- What a gutsy, but difficult loss to swallow for the Eagles. Their sixth in a row, to fall to 5-9.

Carson Wentz started the game with an interception on the third play from scrimmage, which resulted in a Joe Flacco to Kamar Aiken five-yard touchdown pass.

The Eagles scored early in the second quarter on a Ryan Mathews rushing touchdown, his eighth of the season. The touchdown was set up by a strip sack on Flacco, recovered by Fletcher Cox in Ravens territory. Cox had a sack later in the game, to give him 6.5 on the season.

Doug Pederson elected to go for two, which Mathews converted, giving Philly an 11-10 lead.

Right before the half, Ravens receiver Steve Smith burned Eagles rookie corner Jalen Mills for a 34-yard touchdown to give Baltimore a 20-14 lead.

The Eagles had a 13 play drive from the third into the fourth quarter, but couldn't find the end zone and settled for three points. They trailed 20-17 with 14:48 left.

On the ensuing drive, Ravens running back Kenneth Dixon scored to make it 27-17 Baltimore with 11:06 to play.

Pederson elected to try to a jet sweep to Nelson Agholor on 4th and 2, which didn't work. The Ravens took over and after a 54-yard completion to Mike Wallace which seemed like a clinching play, Flacco was picked off by Jordan Hicks with about six minutes left in the game.

An Eagles field goal made it 27-20 Baltimore with a little over two minutes to go. The Eagles forced a punt with 1:48 to go in the game, getting one final shot.

Starting at their own 41 yard line, Wentz ran it in from three yards out with :04 seconds to go making it 27-26 Ravens. Pederson chose to go for two and the win, but it went incomplete.
