Wawa, PAL Team Up To Distribute Lunches To 100 Families In Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Officers from the Police Athletic League spent Friday morning distributing meals to about 100 families in the Tacony section of Philadelphia. The meals were donated by Wawa.
The Wally Goose mascot was there to greet families.
The children also got creative learning kits.
This is part of a month-long partnership between Wawa and PAL, to keep families fed.
