Sometimes it seems circumstances never align for a good outcome. You know, Murphy's Law and all that. Well, last night shortly before 11pm, an accidental explosion occurred in an underground utility on Prospect Avenue near Washington Road. This area can be quite busy at times. Fortunately, the area was not thriving with the usual pedestrian and vehicular traffic that is usually the norm for this area on weekends or when school is in session. All of us first responder types are just happy that no one was injured in the incident seen here from one of our dashcams. So we are using this opportunity to remind people that when a street is closed and officers or barricades are present, please obey the instructions or signage and find an alternate route. Stay safe, Princeton!
