PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Two players from the championship Villanova basketball team showed that they are champions off the court, as well.

Four-year-old Blaise Davis was diagnosed with cancer two months ago. His parents, Ann and Andrew Davis, Villanova alums, decided to redo their basement to allow Blaise a safe place to play during his recovery.

Family friend and contractor Tim Moore, was brought in.

"So we came up with the idea of putting a little house in the corner of the basement, there was an old bar there, we ripped that out and it was a perfect corner for a little playhouse."

The unveiling was on Wednesday night, with an added feature. Ryan Arcidiacono and Daniel Ochefu, plus assistant coach Ashley Howard.

Moore says Blaise had a great night.

"He was having a great day, he was all happy, singing with the players down there, the Villanova chant."

He says Blaise also received a basketball signed by all of Big 5 college coaches.
