University Of Delaware Putting New Measures In Place After COVID-19 Spike

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) -- The University of Delaware is putting measures in place after a spike in new COVID-19 infections on campus. University officials say all campus dining hall meals are now takeout only.

Students living on campus are required to get weekly COVID tests. Off-campus students may be subject to random testing.

Right now, there will be no adjustments to classes, labs or research facilities.

But if cases continue to rise, officials say additional restrictions will follow.
