Backseats Of Uber, Lyft Vehicles Carry More Germs Than Toilet Seats, Study Finds
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – You may want to pack a hand sanitizer the next time you order an Uber or Lyft ride. Researchers swabbed the backseats of rideshare services and found more germs on those surfaces than toilet seats.
The study found rideshare services carry more germs than taxis and rental cars.
Researchers say most of the germs were found on window buttons and seat belts.
