Task Force Now Investigating Source Of Odor That Prompted Evacuations In Center City
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A mysterious odor that prompted evacuations in Center City on Monday is now being investigated by the Tri-State Task Force, which is trying to determine the source. The task force is also investigating recent odors in Delaware County.
Officials say the odor was not natural gas and that it did not come from the former PES Refinery in South Philadelphia, as they first reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
