SUV Crashes Into 7-Eleven In University City
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a driver who likely stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake slammed an SUV into the plate glass window of a convenience store in West Philadelphia overnight.
It happened around 3 a.m. Sunday at the 7-Eleven at 42nd and Walnut Streets in University City.
Authorities say the glass window was shattered, but the vehicle did not enter the store area.
No one was injured in the crash.
Police were investigating to determine if any charges were warranted against the driver.
