Sports: Phillies Looking Toward a Sellout Season

At baseball's unofficial midway point, the Phillies are on pace to sell out the season.

KYW's Mike DeNardo reports that fans have been packing Citizens Bank Park this season at a pace that could top last year's record of 3.6 million attendees.

At the All-Star break, the Phillies attendance has topped two million, and they have sold out every seat so far this season.

Phillies' ticket VP John Weber says right now there are some tickets left at the box office:

"We still have 150,000 tickets to sell for the remainder of the season.  The Arizona series coming up here in July, the Giants and Astros series in August.  So we do have tickets available."

But not many.  Should they all sell, Weber says, it would be the first time in team history that the Phils have sold out an entire season.
