Special Flags Unfurled At Independence Hall To Honor Our Nation's Fallen
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Two specially made flags were unfurled in front of Independence Hall for the National Memorial Day Salute Ceremony. The flag unfurling ceremony honors our nation's fallen.
One of the two flags is the America's Heroes Flag Art, a unique composition featuring over 100 powerful images of our armed forces since 1776.
The flags will then be taken to Washington, D.C. for a second Memorial Day salute later Monday morning.
