23-year-old man injured in shooting in Philadelphia's Kingsessing neighborhood, police say
A 23-year-old man was critically injured in a shooting in Philadelphia's Kingsessing neighborhood Sunday night, police said.
The shooting happened on the 5500 block of Chester Avenue at around 7:20 p.m., according to police.
Police said the man was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center by a private vehicle and placed in critical condition.
The shooting is under investigation.
