Person shot on SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line in Center City Philadelphia; suspect sought, official says
A suspect is on the run after shooting a person on SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line at 15th Street Station in Center City Philadelphia Thursday.
A SEPTA spokesperson said the person was shot in the stomach on a westbound train on Thursday afternoon. The victim was placed in stable condition at a local hospital.
The alleged shooter and the person who was shot got on a train in North Philadelphia before the shooting, a SEPTA spokesperson said.
It's unclear if the two were arguing when the shooting happened, but SEPTA said it doesn't believe it's random.
Service at 15th Street Station resumed after a brief disruption on the westbound side, SEPTA said.
