SEPTA suspends service on several regional rail lines due to downed Amtrak wires

SEPTA has suspended service on three Regional Rail lines after some Amtrak wires were knocked down at 16th Street Junction in North Philadelphia on Monday.

Service was affected on the Chestnut Hill East, Fox Chase, and Norristown/Manayunk Regional Rail lines.

SEPTA says it hopes to restore service at 2 p.m.

Riders on the affected lines should expect delays of up to 20 minutes while repairs are underway.
