Police-Involved Shooting In Strawberry Mansion
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Chopper 3 over the scene of a police-involved shooting in the city's Strawberry Mansion neighborhood.
The incident was reported shortly before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 3200 block of Page Street.
Investigators say a suspect allegedly pointed a gun at a police officer. CBS 3 is told the officer responded by shooting the suspect in the abdomen.
The suspect was taken to Temple University Hospital.
CBS 3 is told the suspect was wanted in connection with a shooting a few blocks away.
There were no injuries to police.
