Report Of Family Possibly Being Held Hostage During Armed Robbery In Rhawnhurst Declared A Bust, Police Say
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a barricade situation in Rhawnhurst Monday afternoon turned out to be a bust. The barricade was declared after police received a 911 call in reference to a family possibly being held hostage during an armed robbery.
The incident took place on the 2500 block of Vista Street. SWAT officers cleared the residence with negative results, according to police.
