Police Probe Discovery Of Homeless Man At Recycling Site In New Castle County

NEW CASTLE, Del. (CBS/AP) -- State police are investigating the discovery of a homeless man's body at a recycling center in New Castle.
Officers were called to All Star Shredding and Recycling in the Delaware River Industrial Park about 9 a.m. Thursday after workers sorting through cardboard and paper materials found the body.
Eric A. Jones, 49 years of age, reported homeless from the Stanton area
Authorities said the deceased has been identified as Eric A. Jones, 49. Jones is a reported homeless man from the Stanton area. No foul play is indicated at this time in the death of Jones and it is still not clear as to the origin of the recycle dumpster, and as to when and where the victim may have been located.
The body was turned over to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
In January, the body of 66-year-old John P. Wheeler III was found in a landfill in Newark. His death was ruled a homicide, but police have made no arrests in the crime.
