Police: Man Following Up On Craigslist Ad Gets Punched, Robbed In NE Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police are searching for a man who punched a victim from behind then stole a laptop he dropped on the ground.
Authorities say on December 24 around 3:50 p.m., the victim showed up to the 7-Eleven on the 2900 block of Cottman Avenue in Mayfair to meet a man who had responded to a Craiglist ad about buying a MacBook Pro.

When the victim arrived at the store he could not find the male. Police say as he was asking an employee if anyone was there to buy a laptop, an unknown male punched him from behind forcing him to fall to the ground and drop the laptop.
Police say the suspect then snatched the laptop off of the ground, which is valued at $2,500, and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Authorities describe the suspect as a black male, around 20-years-old, 6'3"-6'4" tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.
