Police Apprehend Man Barricaded In Home With 5-Year-Old Child In Frankford
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Police dealt with a barricade situation in Frankford.
On Tuesday night, around 8:21 p.m., police say a man barricaded himself inside a home with a 5-year-old child. Police say the incident stemmed from a custody battle.
Authorities say that a witness said the man in the home was allegedly armed.
The man was taken into custody around 9:07 p.m.
The home is located on the 5800 block of N. Penn Street and a staging area was setup near Penn Street and Van Kirk Street. The child was safely brought to the staging area after the incident and no injuries were reported.
