Police Arrest 14-Year-Old In Connection To Strawberry Mansion Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- An arrest has been made in connection to a double-shooting that occurred on Saturday in Strawberry Mansion. Philadelphia Police arrested a 14-year-old in connection with the shooting. The youth was charged with two counts of attempted murder and aggravated assault.

The shooting happened around 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the 2100 block of North 23rd Street.

Authorities say a 25 year-old man was shot once in the chest and once in the right shoulder. He is in critical condition.

A 48 year-old man was also shot twice. He suffered gunshot wounds to his left index finger and right forearm. He is in stable condition.

Police say both men were taken to Temple University Hospital.

Police say they received a description of the shooter and shortly after, saw him walking out of a home on the 2400 block of Edgley Street.
