Pocket Constitutions Now On Amazon's Bestseller List After Khan's Speech

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Pocket constitutions are now on the bestseller list on Amazon.

The little booklets rose to the top ten on Saturday.

Last week at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Khizr Khan held up a pocket Constitution and told Donald Trump he should read it.

Khan's son, an army captain and Muslim, was killed in Iraq.

The National Constitution Center museum store on Independence Mall sells pocket Constitutions and gives visitors their own to take home.

Merissa Blum, of the Constitution Center says, "It seems there has been a lot of conversation about the pocket Constitution since Thursday. People have been coming in and talking to our museum staff and asking where they can get one."

The National Constitution Center also says there has been a spike in visitors to its online Constitution tool—up 16 percent.
