Philadelphia Partygoers Cram In Night Of Dancing....Before Work!

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Usually people go to the club at night, but Thursday morning was a different kind of party. It was all about having fun before the work day even started.

Folks began their morning with a lot of energy at Coda in Center City.

"We are at the Ticketleap Morning Dance Party," says event lead Rachel Robbins. "A lot of other cities right now are doing morning dance parties and Philly didn't seem to have one."

So what's it like to shake it before work?

"Everyone's just having a great time!"

"I think it's awesome!"

"You gotta be ready to party at any moment's notice. You gotta bring your A game."

"It's just a super fun morning dance party just like any dance party, but it happens in the beginning of the day and so you get to feel ecstatic all day long."

"There's another kind of energy."

(Reporter) "I see you're tearing it up on the dance floor!"

"I'm trying!"
