Penn State Women Eyeing 109th Straight Volleyball Win
An incredible winning streak will be put on the line tomorrow when the Penn State women's volleyball team takes on Florida down in Gainesville.

KYW's Matt Leon reports that Penn State, the top-ranked team in the country and three-time defending national champs, will be looking for their 109th consecutive victory.
This is the second longest winning streak in the history of NCAA Division I team sports, behind only the Miami men's tennis program, which racked up 137 consecutive victories from 1957 to 1964.
Penn State head coach Russ Rose (right) talks about the type of player he strives to bring into his program to make success like this possible:
"I always look for kids that are competitive, that are self-starters, that are willing to be accountable for the decisions they make, both on and off the court.
"And then we try to attract -- well, we do attract... we try to get the most talented kids we can and still get them to be committed to the team aspect of sports."
Penn State is 6-0 this season, and they have yet to lose a set. In fact, since their last defeat back in September of 2007 at the hands of Stanford, Penn State has lost only 16 sets while winning 324.
