Off-Duty Police Officer Stabbed In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Officials say an off-duty Philadelphia Police officer was stabbed in Northeast Philadelphia Monday night.

The incident happened at about 10 p.m. on the 4900 block of Grant Avenue, east of the SEPTA Torresdale Station. The officer was not exiting the station.

The officer was transported to Aria Health Torresdale Campus.

Philadelphia Police are investigating the stabbing.

There is no word on a suspect or motive at this time.
