New Jersey Church Not Letting Collapsed Roof Deter It
RAHWAY, N.J. (AP) — It seems it will take a lot more than a collapsed roof to stop one New Jersey church from holding services.
The Elim United Methodist Church, a Korean congregation, and the Spanish Manantial de Vida Church were scheduled to hold outdoor services Sunday in Rahway, a week after the collapse injured about a dozen people.
Between 75 and 100 people were in the 1850s-era church at the time of the collapse. Many were young children.
