2 Dead In Multi-Vehicle Accident That Shutdown Portion Of I-495 In Wilmington
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) -- Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle accident that shutdown a portion of I-495 in Wilmington on Friday afternoon.
Officials say four vehicles were involved in the deadly crash around noon on I-495 northbound in the area of 12th Street in Wilmington.
Two people were killed and one was seriously injured.
I-495 is shut down at the I-95 split. Officials say the road should reopen by 5 p.m.
Authorities have not said what caused the accident.
