More Court Maneuvering For Man Charged With 'Streaking' Obama

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The trial of a man charged with running nearly nude in front of President Obama during a Philadelphia visit last October (see related story) has been postponed.

Wearing normal winter attire and a Yankees baseball cap, 24-year-old Juan Rodriquez of Staten Island, NY was advised by his lawyer to keep his pants on.

(Rodriguez:)  "What happened? Well..."

(Defense attorney William Brennan:)  "Juan, you really can't talk about it. You have an open criminal case."

Added Brennan (at left in photo):  "Why don't we talk after the next (court docket) listing?"

(Reporter:)  "Would you do it again?"

(Brennan, to Rodriguez:)  "That implies you did it the first time."

(laughter)

Back in October, when President Obama was the featured speaker at a rally in the Germantown section of the city, Rodriguez allegedly became the nude dude who took up an Internet dare to streak within eye and earshot of the president.

Brennan hoped to have the case reviewed for ARD (Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition) and have the indecent exposure and lewd behavior charges expunged, but the DA's office has rejected that.
