More Construction on Pa. Turnpike This Weekend
Once again, a major stretch of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in the region will be shut down for construction work early Sunday morning.

KYW's Tony Romeo reports that this time, 14 miles of the Pennsylvania Turnpike's main line will be closed for six hours at 12:01am on Sunday.
The turnpike will be closed in both directions from Valley Forge (Exit 326) to Downingtown (Exit 312) to allow a contractor to place beams for a new bridge carrying Bodine Road over the Turnpike in Charlestown Township, Chester County.
The Turnpike will re-open to traffic at 6 am Sunday morning with single lane traffic until 7 am eastbound and 9 a.m. westbound. Saturday night, the contractor will close one-lane westbound at 8pm and eastbound at 9pm.
In case of inclement weather, the closure will be rescheduled the following weekend.
