Middle School Student Hit By Car In Mayfair Section Of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A middle school student was hit by a car in Philadelphia's Mayfair section on Monday afternoon. The incident happened at Battersby Street and Ryan Avenue, shortly before 4 p.m.
The 12-year-old girl is a student at Austin Meehan Middle School.
Philadelphia School District officials say she was taken to a nearby hospital and will be OK.
The driver did remain on scene.
