Man Critical After Stabbing Outside South Philly Restaurant

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a man is in critical condition after he was stabbed in front a restaurant Saturday afternoon in South Philadelphia.

This happened outside an Asian restaurant on the 600 block of Washington Avenue.

Police say the 40-year-old victim was stabbed once in the chest and taken to Jefferson Hospital.

There's no word yet on the victim's identity, but police say he was not an employee at the restaurant.

No arrests have been made and no weapons were recovered as an investigation continues.
