PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia Police are looking for a man they say beat and raped a woman in Kensington.

Detectives say a man riding his bike grabbed a woman and beat her until she became unconscious. When she woke up, she was lying naked in the back of a property on Jasper Street, near Castor Avenue.

Investigators say it happened on July 12th, around 12:30 in the morning.

The victim had severe injuries to her head and face and was taken the hospital.

Officials say the suspect is in his 30s and was riding a blue and black mountain bike with a head light or reflector, wearing a two tone back pack.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
