First Aid Squad Chief Arrested for Stealing Agency Funds
BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. (CBS)--Burlington County prosecutors have charged the Maple Shade first aid squad chief with theft.
Authorities say Joseph Freed stole more than $118,000 from the squad over a six-year period.
He's accused of making several withdrawals from the squad's bank account to pay personal bills and expenses.
Authorities say he was the only member of the squad with access to the account.
