According to the USA Today's Bob Nightengale, Kansas City Royals assistant general manager J.J. Picollo is the "heavy favorite" to become the next Phillies general manager.
Picollo, a native of Cherry Hill, New Jersey has already interviewed for the position according to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com.
