Hughes Justice Complex In Trenton To Remain Closed On Thursday Following Freon Leak
TRENTON, NJ (CBS) – Officials say the Richard J. Hughes Justice Complex in Trenton will remain closed on Thursday following a freon leak.
Officials say the freon leak has been contained, but readings are higher than acceptable levels. The building was evacuated, and fresh air is being brought into the building via the HVAC system, according to officials.
Officials say no one will be allowed in the building until cleared to do so by the Trenton Fire Department, the Department of Environmental Protection, and associated hazmat teams.
Officials later announced court offices and court facilities at the Hughes Justice Complex will remain closed on Thursday, Oct. 1.
All scheduled court matters will be rescheduled, according to officials.
For information about the building, officials say call the Treasury press office.
