No Threat After Hazmat Crews Responded To Possible Radioactive Material At Philadelphia International Airport

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Crews responded to a Hazmat situation at the Philadelphia International Airport on Wednesday morning.

Airport officials say a package outside Terminal C was possibly leaking radioactive material.

The package was reported around 7:30 a.m.

There have been no reported injuries and no flights have been impacted.

The situation was placed under control around 8:45 a.m. and no threat was present.
