Giant 'T' (For Trump) Is Replaced After It's Torched On Lawn

NEW YORK (AP) — Days after the torching of a giant "T'' tribute to Donald Trump on a New York City lawn, a new, even bigger red-white-and-blue letter has arisen from the same spot.

Trump supporter Sam Pirozzolo stood proudly Wednesday next to the 16-foot-high letter on his front lawn. It's made of foam insulation and has a wooden support frame.

A security fence ringed the installation on Staten Island.

Investigators are trying to determine who set fire to artist Scott LoBaido's (loh-BAY'-dohz) original 12-foot "T'' on Sunday.

When Pirozzolo stepped outside Sunday morning, he watched the Trump tribute going up in flames. He says it reminded him of the crosses torched by the Ku Klux Klan decades ago.

On Wednesday, passing motorists honked and shouted their approval for the new "T."
