Giant Food Stores Remove Justin's Organic Peanut Butter Cups Due To Possible Salmonella Contamination
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Giant Food Stores and Martin's Food Markets have removed Justin's Organic Peanut Butter Cups from its shelves due to possible salmonella contamination in the peanut butter.
Justin's voluntarily recalled the 1.4 oz milk chocolate and dark chocolate peanut butter cups that have a "Sell By" date of March 23, 2013.
The companies say to date, they have received no reports of illnesses associated with consumption of candy. Customers who have purchased the product should discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt to GIANT/MARTIN'S for a full refund.
