Golf courses are wrestling with a way to most efficiently use the new social media, and Deerfield Golf Club in Newark, DE has come up with an interesting new twist: You can get a free swing tip if you sign up to become a fan of the course on Facebook.
For a limited time, the club's professionals will answer questions from golfers on the Deerfield Facebook page. It is a nice way to introduce their teaching philosophies to golfers, who can then book a lesson if they'd like to work on things the best way -- in person.
