Fire Damages Wynnefield Synagogue
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Fire officials are investigating the cause of a blaze that damaged a Philadelphia synagogue early Wednesday morning.
The fire started at about 1 a.m. at the Raim Ahuvim Synagogue in the 5800 block of Drexel Road in the city's Wynnefield section.
Firefighters were able to bring the one-alarm fire under control in under an hour.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
