Emergency Road Repair Scheduled For Busy Center City Street
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- According to Streets Commissioner David Perri, there will be overnight road repairs to 15th Street just south of City Hall on Thursday, August 13 starting after 7 p.m.
During this time, officials say there will be only one southbound lane open on 15th Street between South Penn Square and Chestnut Street.
Officials say crews are doing work to repair a sinkhole.
Motorists are being urged to use alternate routes when traveling in the area.
Officials expect the street to be reopened to two lanes by the end of the business day on Friday.
