Elderly Couple Victims Of Northeast Philly Home Invasion

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Authorities say an elderly couple were the victims of a home invasion Friday morning in Northeast Philadelphia.

The incident happened at about 6:30 a.m. inside a home in the 2000 block of Murray Street in the city's Bustleton section.

Police say two men wearing black masks forced their way into the home through a rear kitchen window.

Investigators say a 75-year-old woman and her 77-year-old husband were in the home. Police say the female was sprayed in the face with mace.

It was not immediately known what, if anything, was taken from the home.

The suspects remain on the loose.

The incident remains under investigation.
