Eagles Sign WR Rueben Randle

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles announced the addition of a veteran to the wide receiver corp on Wednesday. The team announced the signing of former Giants wide receiver, Rueben Randle.

Randle and the Birds agreed to a one-year deal reportedly worth just $500,000 guaranteed and up to $3 million in incentives, that will bring Randle down the turnpike to Philadelphia.

Drafted by the Giants in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, he spent four seasons in New York.

Randle has played in all 16 games of each of his four seasons in the NFL. In 2015, Randle caught 57 passes for 797 yards and a career high eight touchdowns. With those numbers, Randle would have been the Eagles second best wide receiver in terms of yards and catches and would have tied Jordan Matthews for touchdowns.

His most productive season came in 2014 when he caught 71 passes for 938 yards and three touchdowns. Randle also returned punts for the first three years of his career.
